In this Edition of the Education Statistical Digest, the information was updated from the Academic year 2008/09 to 2012/13. During this period it is significant to note that Grenada achieved two major milestones; namely, Universal Secondary Education (2012) and the successfully piloting and subsequently implemented of Caribbean Primary Exit Examination (CPEA) in 2012, thus replacing the traditional Common Entrance Examination. Also, there were two Secondary schools established, the Grenada Christian Academy in Pearls, St. Andrew’s and the conversion of J.W. Fletcher Memorial Primary School into J.W. Fletcher Catholic Secondary School in Archibald Avenue, St. George’s.
