The Embassies of the Eastern Caribbean States in the Kingdom of Morocco
The Embassies of Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco (ECS Embassies) is a joint diplomatic mission comprising embassies of individual member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) namely Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint-Kitts and Nevis, Saint-Lucia and Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines. The Embassies of the Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco operate via the modality of a joint representation that involves joint premises and staff, including a common/joint/shared Ambassador/Head of Mission.
The Embassies of Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco began formal operations on September 09, 2019, in pursuit of mandates issued by Heads of Government of OECS Member States at the 67th Meeting of the OECS Authority, held on June 18, 2019 in Antigua and Barbuda.
Objectives
The Embassies of the Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco pursue five main objectives:
- Provision of regular Diplomatic and consular services
- Increasing diplomatic engagement of OECS Member States with the Kingdom of Morocco,
- The Promotion of friendship and cooperation,
- The advancement of community and individual interests of OECS Member States to the Kingdom of Morocco and,
- Identifying opportunities of investments and partnerships as well as economic, commercial and cultural exchange within the framework of South-South cooperation.
The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships Programme
The Government of Morocco offers 20 scholarships every year to each of the Eastern Caribbean Member States: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The scholarship allows students to choose from a number of tertiary-level programmes offered at Moroccan Public Institutions. These programmes are taught in the French language by a combination of national staff members and foreign lecturers with recognised qualifications in their fields.

Member-State Passport Holders Travelling to Morocco from Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts, St. Lucia or St. Vincent must apply for Visa prior-to-arrival.
